Are video tutorials better than text?

Personally, I like video tutorials since I am more of a visual learner. But a text tutorial that is well thought out is much better than a half-baked video tutorial. If possible, do your text tutorials now. If you have time later on, consider making video tutorials to go along with the text tutorials.
